By Lifeverse provides a digital platform where people can come together in a community based on Biblical values to create, trade, explore, and be blessed. These community guidelines outline some of the things that we do and do not allow on our platform. If you find content that does not belong here, please report it to us. These guidelines exist to help users consider the Biblical context of creating a safe and supportive community.
Each person who enters the Lifeverse is encouraged to be an example of doing what Jesus said. Nobody objects to being treated with love, joy, peace, patience, goodness, kindness, faithfulness, gentleness, or self-control. Lifeverse community Members, Citizens, and Elders encourage one other. Lifeverse holds the optimistic view that each of God’s children is on a journey first toward salvation and then towards sanctification. As works in progress, we love our neighbors as ourselves and love one another as Jesus loved us.
Lifeverse Visitors, Members, Citizens, and Elders are encouraged to foster genuine and meaningful interactions among the community. We ask that you join us to keep Lifeverse spam-free. Posting repetitive content or continually contacting people for commercial purposes without their consent is against our guidelines.
It is highly recommended that you share content you created or have the right to share. Remember that you own the content you post here and it is your responsibility to only post authentic content. Do not post anything that you’ve copied or downloaded from the internet that you do not have permission to post.
Post content that appeals to a diverse audience. We at Lifeverse know that there are times when people want to share nude images that are creative or artistic, but for several reasons, we do not allow nudity on this platform. Any content that shows or depicts sexual intercourse, genitals, and a close-up of fully-nude buttocks is not allowed. This content also extends to any content showing a female’s genitals or nipples. The only exception here is videos showing post-mastectomy scarring and women who are actively breastfeeding are allowed.
Some users like to share photos and videos of their children. However, for safety reasons, there are times when the Lifeverse team will intervene and remove any videos that show nude or slightly-nude children. While the purpose of sharing this content is with good intentions, others might use it in unanticipated ways.
We have a zero-tolerance policy when it comes to sharing sexual content involving minors or threatening to show content that would be deemed inappropriate. There are many ways to create sexually suggestive material so Lifeverse users are encouraged to consider whether they would happily show their images, video, or XR creations to their pastor with Jesus present before posting or sharing.
Lifeverse is not a place that supports terrorism, organized crime, or hate groups. Lifeverse operates in compliance with existing laws so users are required to comply with legal requirements when offering to sell or buy regulated goods. Any events that promote online gambling or lotteries must get our written permission before proceeding.
It is never allowed to encourage violence or attack someone based on their race, ethnicity, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, disability, affliction, or religious affiliation. There are contexts when we may challenge each other in love to raise awareness and protect truth but when kindness, goodness, faithfulness, and self-control are not present this useful interaction ceases to reflect a Biblical framework. Lifeverse users are encouraged to ask themselves what Jesus would have them do in each instance. Correct in and with love.
Serious threats of harm to personal and public safety are not allowed. These threats include specific threats of physical harm and threats of vandalism, theft, blackmail, and other forms of harm. The administrative board and Board of Elders carefully review threat reports and rely on a variety of factors and sources to establish the seriousness and credibility of any threat made.
Suggesting that people injure themselves runs counter to this environment and we will suspend or delete accounts if this kind of behavior is reported. Additionally, we may remove any content that identifies victims or survivors of self-injury if the content targets them for humor or ridicule.
Always be considerate when sharing any newsworthy information. We understand that one way for people to interact with others is by sharing noteworthy events. However, some of these events involve graphic content. As there are many people and age groups on Lifeverse at any time, we may remove content that has intense graphic violence or explicit content. This process is done solely to ensure that our platform remains a safe and nurturing environment for everyone.
We also understand that many users share noteworthy stories with the intent of educating others, raising awareness, or condemning others. In these cases, we request that the user caption their photo with a warning about graphic violence. Do note that any content shared for sadistic pleasure or to glorify violence is not allowed and will be met with swift retaliation.
The strength of the Lifeverse community is based on each of us correcting ourselves, knowing our hearts are in plain sight of God. Kindness is not weakness. Speaking the truth in love doesn’t suggest that the truth should be ignored.
